How average guys in their 40s and 50s are transforming their bodies and health to become stronger, fitter, more muscular, healthier and turning back the clocks to become ‘ageless athletes’
I work with only a handful of high performers who demand the best of themselves and want expert-level guidance on how to train their bodies more intelligently, to improve their quality of life, have high levels of energy both inside and outside of the gym, get fitter and stronger than they’ve ever been, and get extremely well-conditioned.
If that sounds like you, please keep reading…
To be human is to be athletic.
Top athletes specialise in their chosen sport and are exceptional at what they do; they run jump, twist, throw, and lift to compete.
Even the average guy in their 40s and 50s still needs to be able to run across the street, chase a bus down, effortlessly get down and back up from the floor, get in and out of the car, sprint stairs without getting winded, do heavily lifting around the house, all without fear of hurting yourself…
…and all without warming up.
You may or may not be able to do this right now.
Yet it’s not about now, but rather the next 10, 20, 30 years from now that matter. It’s about your health pension.
We all want to age well.
We all want to be someone who gets around like a 50-year-old when they’re 75.
We all want to play with our grandkids on the floor and have a ton of energy at 75.
We all want to maintain the ability to put on our pants and socks and get on and off the toilet without assistance in later life.
We all want to live out our lives in our own homes and not in a care home.
Yet…
…we forget that what we do today will have an enormous impact on how we live as we age.
Your current lifestyle and physical limitations are a foreshadowing of what to expect in the next 30 years.
The more you have to compromise NOW, the less freedom you’ll have as you age.
Sound scary?
Good.
It should be.
Luckily you have a vote in how things turn out in the future, and you get to cast that vote every day by the way you live.
That is to improve your HEALTHSPAN:
Living as healthy as possible deep into my twilight years and remaining physically independent and capable as a man, a husband and a father. Free of disease, medication and health issues.
This comes down to 3 things:
The GOOD news:
Your future is in your hands.
Treat your body with the care and respect it deserves and needs so it can serve you well in the decades to come.
Health requires WORK.
Fitness requires WORK.
As you climb the fitness ladder, however, things change and at some point, more effort and more intensity don't equal more results, just more niggles, aches and repetitive injuries. All of which hold you back.
To continue to improve and even maintain certain fitness domains, you'll need to have more than just the will to push yourself...
...the right strategy, especially for the long game.
There is a need to stop thinking about training as just doing workouts and start thinking about managing volume, intensity, frequency, and loading across each training week and using the right tool for the right job.
This is why we require a number of different types of exercise are required and to place a focus on what your body NEEDS as opposed to what you want.
Your ticket to physical freedom as you age consists of three things.
Without them, it’s only a matter of time before the things you love start falling out of your life.
If you can’t keep up on the hike, it’s not fun.
If you can’t get off the floor without pain or help, wrestling with the kids isn’t an option.
If you can’t toss the kids in the pool on holiday, they ask another family member, or it doesn’t happen at all.
If want you to live a life of freedom at any age.
Part of the problems is that it appears we're neck-deep in a swamp of shady, sketchy AF, quick fixes that are multiplying faster than ever.
This is especially dangerous when attention spans are dropping faster than Tory support.
It's a mad scramble for efficiency, the human brain demanding rapid-fire solutions – we all know that itch.
But here's the kicker, the brutal truth that we're all too familiar with: profound, lasting change ain't no sprint, it's a marathon.
There's no hack. No shortcut. No workaround.
Time insists on its dues.
And time is one thing that's no longer on your side so you can't afford to procrastinate.
Now, I could sweet-talk you with promises of lightning-fast fat loss, breakneck records, and all that jazz, but deep down, you know it ain't that simple.
It's gonna take sweat, toil, and some serious graft.
But, here's the silver lining...
...when you're armed with the right system, if you're locked and loaded with the tools and knowledge, you can do it.
Feast your eyes on the Built to Last program – a comprehensive roadmap for exercise, nutrition AND recovery. That delivers in fitness AND a healthier body.
Working together means that we track key fitness and health metrics to ensure both improve alongside each other instead of at the expense of the other.
What does this involve?
It’s a bespoke, world-class program designed for you and no other, I'll give you what your body needs with the perfect blend of:
✅ Mobility - the cornerstone of moving better for every person in their 40s and 50s.
✅ A strength program, based on an assessment to build the areas that affect your quality of life, and diminish with age. There's no point in being all show with no go.
✅ Cardiovascular training to build a strong and healthy heart; to have the energy to go. It's certainly not about running marathons or becoming an ultra-athlete.
✅ I'll also show you how to eat sustainably without any fad diets, weighing food, starvation, or spammy supplements. This WORKS, at home with the family, on holiday and with work lunches.
✅ Stress management and better sleep is a key part of the program as your middle decades are some of THE most stressful of your life.
It's the ultimate LIFESTYLE program.
Want support?
You get that too.
Access to yours truly via WhatsApp and Zoom for questions, support, accountability and coaching. All helped by a deep dive into what's important to you and why. And this is probably THE most important part as success doesn't happen in isolation.
We use a system called Morpheus; THE best system in the world to monitor, track and build fitness and health, so you don't just see improvements in the mirror or on the scale but also know that your deeper health is improving too.
There's nothing else like it.
And the results from clients are quite literally, life-changing
Curious?
It all starts with a FREE Health and Fitness Diagnostic over Zoom.
Finally...
To save us both some time, I only work with a small handful of high performers at a time so working with me doesn't come cheap and charge for commitment.
Yours in health,
Toby
